Do EVs Have Engines?

Electric vehicles (EVs) operate on a fundamentally different propulsion system than traditional internal combustion engine vehicles. Unlike conventional cars, EVs do not have internal combustion engines fueled by gasoline or diesel. Instead, they are powered by electric motors.
